Such an innocent little thing...until she cooks up more mischief
3.25.08:I found my cell phone last night. It had been missing for six days. Around the second day, when I realized that I really didn’t know where it was, I decided to give it the old Catholic try and start praying to St. Anthony, the Patron Saint of Lost Things. My mom is beaming with pride right now... I’m pretty sure that’s what I see on the horizon from two states away. For all the non-Catholic readers, I’ll offer the explanation that I once heard a wise man deliver to a group of questioning "others" ... Catholics pray to saints because there’s no reason to bother the Big Guy if you’ve lost your keys. So, I am thanking St. Anthony today, for not only guiding me to the whereabouts of my lost item (which was in my mess of a purse all along... clearly I lack organizational skills) but also for forcing me to clean and organize my car and my kitchen in the process. Now, if I can only figure out which saint will guide me through apologizing to my toddler. She is currently praying to St. Anthony to help her find her lost playtime since her mother has been interrogating her for the last week over a missing cell phone.
Stay tuned...next post: Sam's funnies and a potty training update!
