meet Lester

Tonight, our children discovered that Santa sent an elf to our house to keep an eye on them. They named him Lester and were intrigued to learn that he flies away to report back to Santa every night while they are sleeping. He was introduced just before bed time tonight. I've decided he's my new best friend. You see, my sneaky, little, blonde two-year-old who, for the past several months has refused to stay in her bed, or even in her room, at bedtime, went right to bed tonight with no incidents. With all the free time I've had this evening since I haven't been constantly putting a kid back in bed or cleaning up her little trails, I figured I better take a moment to give credit where credit is due.
