The kids are out eating breakfast on the deck and Sam just came in to tell me that he just saw a baby wolf spider come out of an egg and that I can't vacuum it because he thinks that it is cute. While I'm proud that I'm raising such a sensitive child, I'm having a really hard time not imagining thousands of baby spiders hatching on my deck right now, covering the outside of my house and trapping my inside to be eaten alive by these terrifying little animals. Damn you, creators of Arachnophobia...
