Keeneland!

Oops...this post was supposed to come in April since Keeneland is only open during the months of October of April. Oh well...only a day late.

I didn't think we were going to make it out this meet at Keeneland since we had been terrible at planning it, but leading up to the last week the ponies were racing, a friend offered up some free tickets she had won and wouldn't be able to use. So, I made last-minute plans to take the kids on my Wednesday off that week and we met Katie (Super Nanny!) there. We all had a fun time despite the fact that a horse went down during one of the later races. :( Sam loved watching the races and chatting with the people around us, and Grace, who carefully picked her outfit, hair-do and accessories for the big outing, loved the snacks!
