Once upon a time, Sheila and I worked in advertising. Then we had babies and decided that advertising might not be so family friendly. But, once it's in your blood, you're pretty much screwed. While the Beaules were down for a visit from Cleveland this past weekend, Sheila and I stayed up late one night chatting about how much we miss those damn exhilarating and exhausting 60-hour advertising weeks. Yes, we have issues.
So, let's try not to focus on advertising and talk about the great visit we had! Our visits with our Cleveland friends are way too infrequent, so when Dan and Sheila decided to roadtrip down to spend the holiday weekend with us, we were thrilled! We did a little playing in the yard in the HEAT, spent a little time at the mall, and ate LOTS of guacamole.
The kids got along great and we even spoiled the little girls with some cupcakes since they both turned 4 within two weeks of each other. The last time Maci and Grace shared birthday cupcakes together, they were turning 1. Here they are in May of 2007:

And, once again, even though Sheila snapped the above pic of me with the girls, I forgot to get a picture of me and Sheila. We'll have to do that next time which hopefully won't be too far off. Thanks for coming down, Beaules!
